I strongly oppose the petition to ban transgender athletes from competing according to their gender identity. Such a ban is discriminatory, harmful, and contrary to the values of fairness and inclusion in sports.

Trans people deserve equal opportunities to participate, just like anyone else. Policies already exist that balance inclusion and fair competition, and there is no need for a blanket ban that targets a vulnerable group.
