People join sports teams to feel included, to learn teamwork, and to have fun. It's discriminatory to exclude a group of people from participating in sports just because of their gender identity — and it's harmful to everybody. Excluding trans women from women's sports puts everyone at risk: if a woman is too tall, too strong, too fast — if she doesn't fit someone's idea of what a woman "should be" — then she could be harmed by this petition. No one's body should be policed.

Stop playing politics with people's lives. Trans women are women (and trans men are men). Trans people are not the problem: politicians fearmongering and spreading falsehoods are. Let trans people live. Let trans people play.
