I oppose this Amendment because it is discriminatory and punitive. The percentage of trans athletes in Virginia schools is less than 2% of all students. The decision as to how to deal with the perceived issues should be left up to the individual schools. This is a waste of time and taxpayer money. It is strictly a control issue and is purely performative. As of right now, we are still a free country. Human rights apply to everyone equally, not just those who are seen as  conforming to outdated social concepts dictated by uninformed, biased individuals.
