Athlete that Agrees!

As a female athlete it is extremely disturbing and disrespectful that groups of people that have no understanding of athletics hurl accusations and comments that are extremely ignorant. Women’s locker rooms are a place of privacy and safety. After games/matches/competitions we shower/undress in the protection of other women. To deny this privacy and safety is a violation. To say this is not an issue reflects the ignorance that one has in regards to athletic and athletes. It IS an issue for women to undress in front of a biological males. If you are of the opinion it doesn’t matter, walk into the opposite bathroom and take off your clothes! Years ago, a male would have been arrested if he entered a female bathroom or locker room. Now women are made to leave their own spaces! You are putting women in extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate situations that have lasting effects. Protect the safety, equality of Title IX

I urge the Virginia Board of Health to approve this petition for rulemaking to limit female sports and spaces to biological women only. This is not about discrimination; it’s about fairness, safety, and truth. Ignoring biological reality in favor of ideology harms women and girls the most. The state has a duty to protect its citizens, especially the most vulnerable, from policies that erase meaningful distinctions between male and female. Please approve this request for rulemaking and help Virginia lead the way in protecting women’s sports and spaces.
