Transwomen are women and should not be unjustly discriminated against.  Transwomen pose no elevated risk to cis women; the risk to cis women comes mostly from cis men.  Transphobes like to talk about biology, but in doing so it is clear that they do not understand biology.  Humans are not always just XX or XY, and most people do not even know their own chromosomes.  There is a large variation in human biology & it cannot be said that transwomen are truly biologically male.  In addition, transwomen often compete with cis women at a disadvantage, not an advantage.

Finally many of the comments in support of this petition appear to be form letters from national organizations out of state.  I live in Virginia, decisions impacting Virginia should be made by actual Virginias, not out of state spam form fillers!
