This petition refuses to recognize the facts that women are not harmed by the presence of other women who happen to be trans in locker rooms. The fact is trans women are far more likely to suffer harm at the hands of men when forced to use male locker rooms. Furthermore, this is simply discrimination based on a very weak biological justification that ignores the fact that gender is so much more than what’s between our legs. People who discriminate always find a justification that they think sounds legitimate. Cis women, black and brown people, homosexual people have all experienced this. The justifications are never really valid. Virginia is better than this.
