I am writing to express my opposition to the petition filed by the Family Foundation.  It is based on discriminating Trans people and furthering hatred towards them.  I value VDH's work promoting health and safety for ALL people no matter what their race, background or gender. 

I urge VDH to not change their stance on this and instead focus on assuring that Virginian's have access to current public health information on epidemics, correcting mis-information related to vaccines and diseases, and mental health.
