Audiologists and hearing aid dispensers are 2 different but related professions. The patients are confused, and THAT is a dis-service to the public. Nurses /PA's and Docs are different professions and are presented to the public as such. We are here to serve the patients. Not confuse them.

Would you want to see a physical therapist regarding a surgery consult, thinking all the while you are seeing a physcian???

I recommend separate license/and exam/and board of examiners for Audiologists and HA dispensers.
