As a transgender woman, reading the blatant hate speech and bigotry in these comments has left me feeling degraded and sick. These are real people we are talking about here. Depriving transgender individuals of their rights goes against every ideology that America is about. If you read this and think otherwise, you should be ashamed of yourself. Proposing such a ridiculous oppression campaign against individuals who are trying to live the life they see fit is an insult to all the forward progress we as a society have made to lessen discrimination, and promote equality.
