As an RN for the past 8.5 years and a future advanced provider, I will be responsible for paying two license renewal fees. My current salary and future salary would not cover this fee increase in any justifiable way. RN’s are the essential eyes and ears at the bedside. We love what we do, but are not compensated well enough to cover this increase without it making a huge impact financially. People will leave the profession in higher rates than they already are if this is passed. Support the RNs in Virginia and vote no to this proposal.
