In general we as nurses give so much and do not get paid the value of our sacrifice. I know we choose this career and many choose it for different reasons but to increase the renewal fee by almost 65% when we aren’t even getting cost of living raises is ridiculous. It is truly a slap in the face. We are putting in excessive hours because care about our patients and our coworkers and companies are taking advantage of that. Not having the supplies that we need and not having enough nurses on our shift and now the cost to kept our licenses will almost double. Increasing fees to keep our licenses but we’re working for companies that feel that a $0.65 raise is sufficient and enough to provide for our families.
