It is difficult enough working understaffed. These increases could very well cause more nurses to leave the field and cause a safety risk for patients. I already believe it's absurd to make nurses pay a renewal fee after we have paid to go to school and take the initial exams only to serve an ungrateful community, but to now increase the renewal fee could very well be the slap in the face we need to leave the nursing field all together. It's hard enough being a nurse as it is.
