Hello,

I am very concerned over the amount of the increase.  I specialize in LTC/SNF care and many have not provided rate increases routinely for many years related to Covid expenses and Medicare/Medicaid cuts. A increase of this amount is very hurtful to our industry. It may just another nail in the coffin to make nurses close to retirement leave and others not want to come into Virginia to work. I understand the additional regulations and time needed for CNA monitoring but not sure how I feel about the majority of that falling on my group of nurses. If an increase is needed, it needs to be realistic and fair. 5-10%, which even that is more than most nurses get yearly in an increase and with the cost of living increases this will just add additional stress on our fragile nurses with all the regulations and pressures on them.
