Optometrists are completely trained and more than capable to perform laser procedures on patients. In fact, because some of these patients have limited access to ophthalmologists and most times long wait lists, these optometrists are performing vision saving procedures for our community. I fully support optometry regulations with no changes because I fully trust our ability to care for our patients.
