I am writing in support of in-office lasers by Optometrists. This will improve access to care for patients and improve compliance in patients who will not follow up with referrals to OMDs or who cannot afford drops. Virginia has almost 2X more optometrists than ophthalmologists, making access to these procedures less burdensome to the working poor.
