The New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians (NJSOP) is pleased to know that Virginia has passed a law to modernize optometry. The expanded scope of practice aligns with current optometric education and training.

More than 146,000 procedures have been performed by optometrists across the country with excellent safety records.
