The documentation process didn’t even account for the unpredictability of my child’s condition. They need care immediately, not after forms are approved. This system fails to recognize the emotional toll it takes on families already under extreme stress. We shouldn’t have to fight this hard to care for our kids. Parents are the experts when it comes to their children’s needs. Requiring us to submit unnecessary documentation takes that expertise for granted. It’s not just paperwork; it’s time spent chasing signatures, gathering records, and explaining things that have already been documented. It delays care when my child needs it most. The emotional exhaustion from jumping through these bureaucratic hoops has no benefit for the well-being of my child. We need policies that support families, not stress them further.
