I live in Essex county where there are excessive deer if not controlled by hunters.  This is a service to the area and the majority of deer harvested are by hunters with dogs. Still hunters (without dogs) do not harvest nearly enough to control the herd and excessive hurds would harm almost all citizens property and crops, they bother my garden.  I think it is in the best interest for controlling the herd that this bill be opposed.  I think the existing laws about retrieving dogs is adequate to allow herd control and protect private property.
