I do not believe that Kratom (mitragyna speciosa) or it's active compounds should be criminalized, banned, or outlawed in any way, shape, or form. It is a great alternative to caffeine, as well as an alternative to toxic nSAIDs, which I am personally allergic to. I do not believe that it is a dangerous plant. It does not alter my conscience, it does not cause me physical harm, and it does not negatively impact my work, social, or home life.
