While more research needs to be done on kratom, I can 100% say that it has medical value and legitimately helps people.  I personally was able to quit drinking with the help of kratom and have replaced chronic use of ibuprofen for arthritis with kratom.  I am a professional, loving husband and father, and have my affairs in order.  This plant has changed my life for the better with no repercussions.   It would be a shame to ban something with so much potential to help.  
Please do not schedule 1 kratom.
