No valid reason to schedule kratom

Kratom does not meet the criteria for a schedule one substance. You have no valid argument for moving forward with the scheduling of a plant that grows in the ground. It has been used as medicine for 1000 years and we're just not seeing all the associated deaths that would warrant the scheduling of this plant. If you schedule anything, it should be alcohol, cigarettes, and fentanyl. Look at how many deaths those substances have caused.
