Kratom

Hey there.

Making kratom schedule 1 won't help anyone. It won't stop people from seeking substances to fill the void, you'll actually make your cities worse.  You see, it's actually helping mitigate addiction.  When people who live in constant pain are ignored or unable to get medical treatments that work, they will look for other ways to alleviate the pain. I have not known a day without pain since 1997. I will likely never have another pain free day as long as I live, yet no doctors want to make my life bearable so that I can support my family and pay my taxes. I have a genetic condition that causes pain, it will get worse as I age. Taking opiates isn't the solution.  I've been taking kratom since 2016. I am no longer bed ridden because I control when I need to take it and how much I take. I work a full time job plus maintain a small homestead while I support my family and child.  I would be bed ridden and on disability without it. This plant doesn't get you high,  there's no euphoria,  but it does make it bearable. Many people will die if you make kratom illegal.  Regulate it so its safe,  but don't ban it.
