I have witnessed menhaden fishing and it is a travesty that we allow Canadian companies to come into American waters to take our natural resources when it negativekk look u impacts our own ecology. The Chesapeake bay is an estuary home to many species that depend on the menhaden as their food. As a resident of the bay I’ve seen the overfishing in person and it’s truly disgusting. They net everything in the water, decimating the menhaden populstion as well as any other fish running. Please put a stop to this. Our osprey population has declined severely because menhaden are a primary good choice. Please do what is best for Americans. We are all a part of the chain.
