No where in the petition does it mention Omega Protein or commercial menhaden fishing and yet most of those in favor of this petition have made it a point to single the company out. I think that says a lot of about the true intentions of this proposal. This would affect a much larger audience of waterman that either enjoy sports fishing or make a living from working in and around the Bay. This is asinine.
