I want to let you know I travel all over the world and our country. I’ve seen the aftermath of the bycatch of the Pogie fleet( omega) it sad to see the indiscriminate killing of what ever is in the area feeding on the pogie / menhaden. I’ve seen it here in Virginia in side the bay and in the Louisiana marsh. We need to stop allowing them to  fish in waters that do not fit the depth requirements. The Chesapeake Bay is struggling as it is and the few game fish that are left need food which is the Menhaden to survive. They also don’t need to be killed by the bycatch of the Omega fleet.
