Potential Gaming Comment Submission

I, Jasmine Dyonta Lipscomb (Sgt, USMC, Vet), am a member of American Legion Post 1097 (17 Fairfield Avenue, Danville, Virginia 24541).
On behalf of "745 "members of this post, I would like to submit the following request.

A.  Opening statement:  It is with great honor and respect to be able to have the privilege of submitting on behalf of my Post.  It's within grace that Gaming Grover has afforded many Posts the opportunity to have their voices heard through this public comment forum.  We look forward to new beginnings in January 2023 that may have a positive effect on future Charitable Gaming Boards.  I pray our submission weighs dearly as rules and regulations are being redrafted.

B.   Submission:  1.  We would like to respectfully request to have the Use of Proceeds (UOP) decrease from 40% to 28%.  This will give us the opportunity to use more net proceeds on religious, charitable, educational, and community events rather than risking shutting down the gaming industry opportunity to help generate more funds for the Post.
                             2.  We would like to respectfully request more time (preferably once a week) to deposit funds outside of the two-day limit.  Certain Banks only allow so many deposits a month which could hinder the actual regulation with a violation.

                              3.  We would like to respectfully request for the flexibility of a Gaming Manager onsite to be allowed to implement having an Emergency Phone Number to call instead.  Have the Manager on duty keep a Duty Phone with them.

C.   Closing remarks: Thank you for giving me the opportunity to submit recommendations on behalf of this organization.
