Please reconsider the new gaming fees. As a member of 2 local organizations Fraternal Order of Moose and VFW, I can assure you this will hurt numerous charities that we contribute to locally. Struggling to keep the doors open with the decline of memberships and volunteer participation as it is, taxation is to sure close the doors or many fraternal organizations in the state. Especially in small towns where we help the sick, underprivileged, children, veterans, elderly, research programs, the hungry, the cold and many more causes with funds from the gaming machines. We do make a difference so I ask you to consider lowering the mandatory donation and allow us to use the funds to help with payroll expenses to keep Virginians employed.
