Proposed Gaming Regulations

The proposed new gaming regulations are going to severely affect the continued operation of The Safe Surfin Foundation as we are a not for profit and rely solely on donations.

Safe Surfin educates kids on how to safely use the internet. We are currently in the process with Delegate Wendell Walker of Lynchburg to make internet safety mandatory in all high schools in Virginia. If our revenue is cut off, we will have a very hard time providing this as an option to schools. Without funding from Moose, Eagles and others our organization would be severely limited on our mission of protecting children through education.

We ask that you reconsider the changes that will directly affect the way the fraternal organizations are allowed to use the proceeds from gaming in a way they will continue supporting not only our foundation but many others as well.

Thank you for your consideration,

Eddie Worth                                                                                              President/Executive Director                                                                      Safe Surfin Foundation
