Overreach without any measurable benefit

The Virginia regulations for the immunization of school children are overly aggressive and Machiavellian in their stance, manipulative in their use of fear-mongering to ensure compliance, and rely on the deception and ignorance of parents to support what appears to be a Pharma-led marketing scheme. We cannot continue to allow the citizens of our Commonwealth be subjected to this new wave of manufactured health "emergencies" that only serve to generate new revenue streams in healthcare and do nothing to improve public health. The Virginia Department of Health must not expand the existing schedule and should amend the current regulations to allow parents and their trusted doctors the discretion to choose what is best for their children, without fear of exclusion from school if their decisions are not aligned with the wishes of the Commonwealth or the healthcare industry lobby.
