Charitable Gaming

The Virginia Elks Association support the school children of Virginia with our Scholarship Program, our Drug Awareness Program, our Youth Camp, our Americanism Essay Contest, our Hoop Shoot Program, our Soccer Shoot Program, our Coat Project and our Dictionary Project. The Virginia Elks support our veterans with our Welcome Home Program, our Prevent Homeless Program and our Prade of Heroes Program. Virginia Elks provide safety glasses to local first responders, high school vocational classes, biology classes and to community colleges. Our local lodges also support many local charities, aide the homeless, support local food banks, provide school supplies to needy children and help local sport teams.

Our efforts in 2021 provided well over $2,500,000 of needed services to the citizens of Virginia. Most of our charitable efforts will stop if the Charitable Gaming Laws move forward as they are currently written. Please allow the charitable originations to continue to support our state and our communities by not changing the laws that effort the Elks Lodges of Virginia
