Voting Rights and Sloppy Signatures?

Dear Election Board:

Please be advised that if my vote is denied due to the 'quality'  or 'legibility' of my signature, I shall file a lawsuit against the Commonwealth of Virginia for violation of The Americans with Disabilities Act.  Why?  Because I, like many other citizens, have an illness that causes shakiness in my hands.  It's a recognized disability usually associated with neurological damage;  muscular sclerosis and muscular dystrophy sufferers, and countless others similarly affected through no fault of their own.

Shakiness in the hands affects the elderly, wounded military and civilians with PTSD and/or physical restrictions like missing hands and arms requiring prosthetics, cancer patients receiving chemotherapy or radiation treatment, which cause weakness and shakiness, and countless other ailments can cause so-called poor writing.

Let's not leave out doctors; notorious for their "bad handwriting."

These are only a few examples of persons who would be affected by this latest silliness being put forth by the GOP  to disenfranchise Americans.  Enough already!

Sincerely,

Clara Martin
