As an imminent absentee voter, I ask you to make absentee voting easier not harder.  I am currently in New Zealand.  I've already received 3 notifications in my mailbox trying to get me to register to vote.  Of course, I cannot.  But, I think it is wonderful that the government is reaching out to potential voters to increase voter turnout instead of the opposite, which is what you are doing by basing a ballot's legitimacy on the penmanship of the voter.   Schools in VA don't even teach penmanship from what I've experienced with my children.  Are you trying to wipe out future generations of voters?
