Adoption

Thank you for taking the time to read my e-mail.  I am writing to express my belief that it is wrong to have adoption laws that allow children to be adopted by two men or two women.  There is plenty of evidence out there that shows that children need both a mom and a dad to reach thier full health, maturity, and potential.  This is not discrimination because discrimination is when you treat things/people in a manner that is unjust.  No one has a "right" to adopt a child.  Placing children in homes of a married man and woman is what is best for children.  It is about children, not about discrimination.  Laws that will not allow Jews, Christians, Muslims, etc., who believe that marriage is between a man and a woman, to give children a safe and healthy home is a big mistake, an injustice to children, and discrimination against those couples because of their religious beliefs.  Do not buy the lie that sex between two men and between a man and a woman is the same thing and has the same meaning.  You can tell a thing from its fruits.  Stand for marriage as it has been taught and understood for thousands of years.  Thanks so much.  -Nathan Lewis
