I am writing to oppose proposed regulations for private adoption agencies in Virginia.  To use administrative procedures to advance a political agenda is unacceptable, to say the least.  To advance a political agenda that will be detrimental to children is despicable.  No child will be harmed by NOT being placed with a homosexual couple (whom I presume would be unmarried, since it is illegal in Virginia, and therefore an inherently unstable environment).  However, children will be harmed by not being placed in any home because the agency that would have placed them is no longer operating because of "administrative regulations" that are nothing but a cover for religious intolerance.
