Dear Sir or Ma'am,

I would like to go on record in opposition to proposed regulation 22 VAC 40-131-170(B).   Art Bennett (President & CEO Catholic Charities Diocese of Arlington) thoroughly catalogues the issues with the proposed changes.  Please consider his points carefully.

In my own words, I believe that the proposed changes would run roughshod over prudent concerns regarding the welfare of a child.  Study after study validates the conclusion that children thrive best in a traditional two-parent household.  This language makes children into fodder for a sociological experiment that is reckless at best and reprehensible at worst. 

I would like to reiterate my strong opposition to the proposed language of 22 VAC 40-131-170(B).  Do not pass this language.  Please feel free to contact me if you require any clarification.
