This proposal will only escalate costs for the state. It would force faith based adoption agencies to close, and add a tremendous burden on all other adoption agencies. Constitutionally, it is probably dead on arrival, since it discriminates against the practice of the Catholic faith, among others, which view homosexual adoption as inherently harmful to the child, and therefore immoral.

It's a bad idea on at least these two fronts.
