I am concerned that the proposed Standards will make it impossible for Church related organizations to provide the fine work theydo on behalf of children now. I also feel that the biological parents, who may not be able to care for a child, should have the right to set standards in the areas of familial situation and religious belief of those who will care for the child. I feel that the Standards being considered are an over-reach of the state into areas that are quite rightly the perogative of the biological parents, and will harm children by the loss of Church affilitred groups who help them now.
