Please do not penalize possible foster parents or adoptive parents who hold traditional religious convictions regarding healthy family systems.  Loving and supportive traditional families would be denied the opportunity to provide homes for needy children if this regulation is adopted.  Protection of religious liberty is a basic tenet of our Constitution and should not be disregarded.  Ultimately children are the victims of such overriding regulations.  Please consider a more balanced approach that can accomodate a wider range of belief systems.
