Discriminatory Adoption Agency Changes

Please consider the unjust impact of changes to regulations on private adoption agencies.  It is in the best interest of those in this business to protect and insure the rights of each child's/guardian's wishes to place that child within the care of those they deem best fit for the circumstances.  To say that one cannot be disciriminatory in this descision based on race, or religion or sexual orientation/ etc. robs those agencies of the power to choose accordingly.  Being discriminatory in the rightful sense of the word (in essence "choosy") IS the prerogative of this business!  Why not rather require each agency to state the agency's individual mission regarding adoption. . . and allow those who would wish to adopt "shop" for the agency that best fits their personal beliefs?  Would this not be a better fit within the free world?  The benefit of choice for those regarding adoption should be free from any regulation which could negatively impact a child.  And it sounds like this legislation would do just that by taking away the fundamental right of each individual agency to choose how they can best serve their clients and the children.  Please carefully consider the very serious negative impacts of such a regulation, possibly unintentional, but very real none the less.  PLEASE,DO NOT PASS these regulations- it is in direct discord with everything this country has sought to embrace from the beginning. . .
