Every study I have reviewed indicates that the best possible environment for the nurturing and development of children is in a committed family setting with both a mother and a father. The basic building block of society is a loving family which includes a mother and father committed to each other and their children. It has been the staple for civilization since the beginning. Why would DSS want to potentially send children into a setting which places children at a disadvantage? It appears the DSS is more concerned with the self esteem of homosexual adults than with the welfare and development of children.
