adoption regulations

As a health care professional for many years, working with people from all walks of life and many cultures, it is clear to me that children are healthier in every sense of the word if they have parents who are married man and woman.

Beyond this basic consideration -- the welfare of the child -- is the issue of respecting the conscience of the adopting organization/foundation.    Making it a requirement of law that the fundamental tenets of one's faith and conscience MUST be violated will only result in a great loss of resources for the community and for families.

It is an assault on freedom of religion and conscience and makes a mockery of any idea of justice.

It is stupid and counter productive.  Please do not allow this to become law.
