I am submitting comment that I oppose regulations that require state licensed adoption agencies, including private church-run adoption agencies, to process adoption of children to homosexual couples.
Not only would such regulations cross the boundaries of Freedom of Religion (and its exercise), but it also places the greater well being and development of the children to be adopted at risk. Further, such regulations would force church-run adoption agencies throughout the state to close their doors as they stand (and have the right to exercise) in moral opposition to such measures.
This will of course impede the placement of thousands of adoptable children, and the hopes of potential parents seeking to adopt.
