Opposition to chenges in the VA state Adoption Policy

Members of the state legislature of Virginia. We opposed the proposed changes considering these in opposition to the best possible solutions for children in Virginia.

This is another way to redefine family in Virginia.  Children are best raised in a family cosisting of a mother and father.  The foster children in the system should be a good base for you to see that only having a woman or a man in your life is not enough.

Our government consistently says they don't want to make moral legislation when it is conservative, but this is moral legislation without asking the people of Virginia how they view these decisions.  You were elected and represent us, please look at the responses and know the majority of the people of Virginia are not in favor of this kind of legislation.

Please don't do what is viewed as "politically correct" in this day and age, but search what you know to be right and allow moms AND dads to raise children.  Allow the good work that many faith-based organizations are doing to pair children alone with parents that want to love them. In the state of Virginia a family is still considered a man, woman, and children. Our country is falling apart as the family continues to fall apart, PLEASE don't let Virginia follow in that trend, keep families the way they were intended to be.

This bill should be dismissed!

Thank you
