Please do not change the current regulations regarding adoption.  The proposed changes will have a negative impact on the Catholic Charities for Adoption and Pregnancy Services as well as other religious and faith-based organizations. My mother, back in Ohio, was an avid supporter of Catholic Charities and was a foster parent for many years.  Having this alternative to many mothers is a much needed service for our faith and our communities.
