Dear Sirs,

I strongly support the proposed amendment to 4VAC10-30-170 that would allow for the legal open carry and conceal carry of handguns in State Parks. This would be more in line with the new Federal regulations for their park land and would be more consistant with exsisting State laws. It makes no sense that I am able to protect myself and my family when in Virginia, unless I am in a State park. What is the logic, or lack there of that being in a State park changes the threats that we face on a daily basis? So again I urge the passing of this common sense amendment.
