To whom it concerns, 

Please enact the proposed amendment to 4VAC10-30-170, which allows for the otherwise
lawful carry of firearms and ammunition in state forests!  This amendment brings
state forests into alignment with state parks, national parks, and national forests.

It's important that law abiding gun owners have as close to a single set of laws to memorize and abide by so that they do not
accidentally commit a crime via misunderstanding that could jeopardize their standing as a citizen, and as a gun owner.

Virginia is a great state when it comes to personal freedoms and this amendment just furthers that reputation with no risk or 
infringement of the rights of others.
