I encourage our state's continued participation in RGGI.  This program has been highly successful in reducing pollution, while directly helping thousands of low-wealth families reduce their energy bills and negative climate impacts.  It has also been essential for helping localities across the commonwealth to address increasingly devastating floods.

     As people of conscience, it is essential to support initiatives like this one that helps to address some of the negative impacts of climate change and reach a carbon-free energy use by 2050.  There is too much at stake to not continue our participation in RGGI.  Thank you.
