Energy plan - comments

Virginia has a great opportunity to participate and create many long-term jobs with renewable energy; solar in all forms, offshore wind, and battery storage smoothing. Electric vehicle charging needs to be in that mix.
We need to encourage utilities to plan for this integration and allow community solar and grid-tied solar for homeowners. We have solar for about 8 years and it has been excellent. The only problem is whether the utility is going to charge us a rate higher than we produce or stop us entirely. That is up to the Virginia agencies to assist.
We learned that pipelines guaranteed for a payout to the utility has to be stopped and policy changed.
Hi electric energy total bills to consumers has no reason other than to enhance the profits of utilities which are a monopoly and regulated by the state. Why are the bills in Virginia higher than most states?

Thanks You,

Larry
