Hello,

I am a parent of a school aged child in Virginia and I wanted to state my opposition to this book banning policy that includes harmful rhetoric against the LGBTQIA+ communities. I don’t approve of the state intervening to portray queer people as deviants. Homophobia and transphobia harm the LGBTQ community and this policy contributes to that. Parents can and SHOULD monitor and make decisions for their own families. This policy is COMPLETELY unnecessary.
