Let the Educators Educate

This proposed guidance creates the opportunity for chaos.  How many lessons is a teacher supposed to create, who will determine if the new materials are appropriate and who and how will you monitor what students teach each other. Children have been teaching other children subjects they perceive to be a secret for years.

Isn't it better they learn the truth with sensitivity and understanding.  Teachers, social workers and mental health professionals are trained to teach what some may perceive to be sensitive materials.  Let's let them do their job.  Without the interference of parents who are not trained in education.

And finally, what is sensitive to one family is another family's normal.  We should not make that judgement for anyone.
